Entrepreneurs - Be encouraged the FT is giving you more recognition!

Having been an avid reader of the Times, The Independent, The Guardian, The Observer & the Financial Times - non salacious newspapers - I am more and more encouraged by the FT's features on Black Entrepreneurs and others of Influences.

I was involved in my first business venture aged 13-14 years old. It was hard work and a failure and taught me lots of lessons.

Never be afraid to try and never be afraid to fail - it's not really failure - it's all just a learning curve.

Let's learn from current Entrepreneurs of colour!

Last week two articles on Jay-Z were featured, one included a mention to Oprah Winfrey and the Oatly brand of vegan alternative to milk.

In recent months - jazz greats such as Wynton Marsalis, Robert Glasper, Spike Lee, Denzel Washington. Edward Enniful - too many to mention - all great feature articles and all providing encouragment - that no matter how humble our beginnings - with shere hard work and a never give up attitude 'we' can make a difference.

Encouraging all black entrepreneurs across the globe to support the FT in its promotion of black entrepreneurs and influencers.
